Scroll Facebook Marketplace and you'll find washers for $150. What you won't find is anyone who'll answer the phone when it quits in three weeks.

Every machine we sell goes through our Winder shop before it goes anywhere near your house. Refurbished means what it says: worn and failing parts replaced — not glanced at, replaced — the machine cleaned inside and out, then run through complete wash and dry cycles on our test stations. If a part is on its way out, it comes out before you ever see the machine.

Then we back it with a 3-month warranty on every machine, delivered or picked up. If something goes wrong in those first 90 days, we make it right. That's the difference between buying from a shop and gambling on a stranger's driveway.

Delivered and installed — sets $455–555, singles $255. We bring the machines, hook up hoses, level everything, and run a test cycle before we leave. You do a load of laundry that night. No borrowing a truck, no wrestling a 200-pound washer down basement stairs, no discovering the hoses don't fit at 8 PM.

Pick up at our Winder shop — $165 per machine, $330 for a pair. Got a truck and a strong friend? This is the cheapest way in town to get a refurbished, warrantied machine — less than half the delivered-set price, and still miles safer than a Marketplace gamble because the same warranty rides along. Top-load washers only, on purpose. Our washers are built on the most proven platforms in the business — Whirlpool VMW, Whirlpool Direct Drive, and GE GTW — plus the brand families built on those same designs: Maytag, Kenmore, Roper, Amana, Estate, and Hotpoint, along with some Samsung units. Dryers come from the same families.

Why these machines? They're simple, durable, and easy to service — which is exactly why we can afford to warranty them. A used Whirlpool Direct Drive washer will outlive most of the shiny new machines at the big-box store, and when it eventually needs a $30 part, it takes twenty minutes to install instead of a service ticket and a three-week wait. About "matching" sets — an honest note. Our sets are color-matched working pairs: both machines the same color, looking right side by side. They're not always the same brand — you might get a Whirlpool washer with an Amana dryer. Since most of these brands are built on shared platforms anyway, what you're actually paying for is two refurbished, warrantied machines that work. If a brand-matched set is in stock and matters to you, ask — sometimes we have them.
