Before you pay anyone to come look at your machine, call or text us. We'll give you up to 20 free minutes — one issue per person — to help you diagnose and, a lot of the time, fix your washer or dryer yourself. We work on these machines every day at our Winder shop; common problems have common causes, and plenty of them can be solved with the hands already in your house.

The problems we solve most over the phone
Dryer not heating? Nine times out of ten it's the thermal fuse, the heating element, or a lint-clogged vent — and the clogged vent is something you can check yourself in five minutes. We'll tell you how, and if it does turn out to be the vent, we also do $99 dryer vent cleaning.
Washer won't spin or drain? Almost always a clogged pump (socks, coins, hair ties) or the lid switch. We know exactly where to look on Whirlpool, GE, Maytag, and Kenmore machines, and we'll walk you through it step by step.
Washer leaking, dryer squealing, or won't start at all? Hoses, rollers, belts, door switches — cheap, common parts. Call or text 706-995-6964 with the brand, the model number if you have it, and what the machine is doing (or not doing).
What if it can't be fixed over the phone? Then you'll know for free. From there: drop-off repair at our Winder shop ($99 flat + parts), used sets with a warranty, or a rental with repairs always included. No pressure — half these calls end with the machine running and nothing to charge for.
