Yes, It's Really Free. Here's Why.
Search "free appliance removal" and most of what you'll find is national booking websites that either charge you (some "removal services" run $80–150 per appliance) or sell your phone number to whoever pays for the lead.
We're neither. We're an appliance shop in Winder, and old washers and dryers are our raw material. We refurbish machines — replace the worn parts, clean them up, test them through full cycles — and rent and sell them across the area. Your dead dryer has parts and life left in it, so hauling it away free isn't charity and it isn't a trick. It's how we stock our shop.
That's the whole business model, out loud. No fee when we schedule, no fee at the door, no "disposal surcharge" invented on your driveway.
What We Pick Up
Washers and dryers only. Working, broken, rusted, flooded, possum-inspected — condition doesn't matter. Top-load, front-load, stacked units, any brand.
What we don't take: refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, water heaters, or general junk. We're not a junk-removal service — we're a washer-and-dryer shop, and staying in our lane is why the pickup stays free.
How It Works
- 1
Call, text, or send the form. Tell us what you've got and where it is — garage, laundry room, basement, back porch, curb.
- 2
We schedule a time. Usually within a few days, often sooner if we've got a truck in your area. We'll confirm before we head your way.
- 3
We haul it out. Our crew brings the dolly, does the lifting, and takes it down the stairs if that's where it lives. You don't have to move it to the curb, and you don't have to be home if it's accessible and we've squared it away in advance.
That's it. No paperwork, no payment, no rescheduling runaround.
Where We Offer Free Pickup
Free washer and dryer removal within about 30 minutes of Winder: Statham, Bethlehem, Auburn, Dacula, Hoschton, Jefferson, Athens, Bogart, Monroe, Loganville, Covington, and the communities in between. On the edge of the map? Call anyway — if a truck's already headed your direction, we can usually make it work.
When to Call Us (Basically Always)
- Replacing your machines? We'll haul the old ones the same day your new ones arrive — and if you're buying refurbished machines from us, removal happens at delivery automatically.
- Machine died and you're done with it? One less thing rusting in the garage.
- Cleaning out a rental property or a family member's house? We'll take every washer and dryer on site.
- Landlord with a dead set between tenants? We pick up, and if you want the unit rent-ready fast, we rent washer and dryer sets for $65/month with repairs covered forever. More on the landlord program.
One honest caveat before you scrap it: if your machine is only a few years old and just quit, it might be worth fixing instead. We do drop-off repair for $100 plus parts — sometimes a $130 fix beats replacing a good machine. We'll give you a straight opinion on the phone.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the pickup really free? What's the catch?
Really free, no catch. We refurbish and resell washers and dryers — your old machine is inventory to us, so we don't charge to collect it. No fees before, during, or after.
Do I need to disconnect the washer or dryer first?
It helps but isn't required. If it's still hooked up, our crew will disconnect standard water, drain, and electric dryer connections when we arrive. Gas dryers: we ask that the gas is shut off ahead of time — if you're not comfortable doing that, tell us when you schedule and we'll walk through it.
Will you take a broken or really old machine?
Yes. Broken is normal for us — that's most of what we pick up. Age, rust, and condition don't matter.
Do you take refrigerators, stoves, or other appliances?
No — washers and dryers only. That focus is why the removal is free.
Do I have to be home?
Not necessarily. If the machine is somewhere we can reach — garage, carport, porch, curb — and we've confirmed the details in advance, we can grab it while you're at work and text you when it's done.
How fast can you come?
Usually within a few days, sometimes same-day or next-day if we've got a route near you. Call or text 706-995-6964 and we'll give you a real answer, not a four-hour window that means nothing.
Got a washer or dryer you're done with?
We come to you. We do the lifting. It costs nothing.
